OPERATING EXPERIENCE WITH TURBO-PROP ENGINES

The author presents a resume of the propeller turbine accelerated service test program on two Convair YC-131C's which was concluded on 16 December 1955, and a description of the continued service test thus far on two Boeing YC-97J's (Fig. 1) and two Lockheed YC-121F's (Fig. 2).
