Authors Abstract
Content
The highest frequency of gear failures is tooth bending fatigue. These are found in many variations depending upon existing circumstances and causal effects. Tooth bending fatigue is a tensile failure and is always due to an overload of the current existing conditions and may be much lower than the designed load application.
