A new method for dynamic modeling and active control of the large-scale, on-orbit assembled two-dimensional planar phased array antenna is proposed in this study. As the demand for high imaging accuracy and scanning coverage in satellite antennas increases, there is a shift toward larger apertures. However, large-scale phased array antennas face challenges such as low rigidity and significant nonlinear vibration during attitude maneuvers, which can degrade pointing accuracy and shape precision. To address these issues, this study proposes a dynamic modeling framework that incorporates geometric nonlinearity, employing finite element method (FEM) and a polynomial fitting-based model order reduction technique. A rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model is then developed based on the velocity variation principle. In control design, the paper integrates an active vibration control law using cable actuators with a computation torque algorithm based on control moment gyroscopes (CMGs) to design an integrated attitude-vibration control system. This system aims to suppress nonlinear vibration while achieving high-precision attitude control. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed integrated control approach in both vibration suppression and attitude maneuvering, offering valuable insights for its practical application in future space missions.
