Abstract

Content: The intent of this paper is to illustrate how simple testing techniques and application of elementary noise concepts helped attenuate the noise in the operator cabs of a heavy-duty mobile crane to within the 8 hour/90 dBA limit established by the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1970.
