NexGen UAS in the Counter Integrated Air Defense Environment

The majority of the content of this paper and briefing was drawn from the NexGen UAS Final Report, Vertical Lift Consortium NexGen UAS Phase 1 dated 29 June 2018 and results from Boeing's 2018 Modernized Vertical Lift Analysis. This discussion will focus on the Future Operating Environment of the NexGen Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) and Boeing's approach to designing a NexGen UAS to meet the needs of that environment. The process presented here was defined in the NexGen Tactical UAS Concept Exploration Phase 1 as part of the NexGen UAS Sensitivities and Trade-off Analysis.
