Modern Automotive Greases

Modern automobiles require a host of different lubricants to help them perform efficiently. Many of the lubrication requirements are fulfilled for the life of the automobile, but there are some field service requirements for lubricants, including greases. It is the intent of this paper to provide some guidance in selecting an appropriate grease from the multitude that are available and to relate some of the properties of greases that lend to this selection.
