Abstract
Content
Model-based approaches have brought about a qualitative leap in enhancing flight test safety, improving the efficiency of concurrent engineering, and enabling knowledge reuse and sharing. Focusing closely on the engineering application of model-based methods in the field of stall flight testing, this paper systematically reviews the stall airworthiness certification requirements for transport-category aircraft. It proposes a stall flight test process model based on functional flow models and investigates a model-based design method for stall flight test point matrices. Furthermore, an improved practical approach for multi-disciplinary collaborative modeling, simulation, and compliance data analysis in stall flight testing is presented. Taking a specific aircraft type's stall flight test as an example, this paper provides a detailed description of model-based application cases across the pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight phases.
