This paper describes a two-phase effort to identify the essential cues and minimum fidelity requirements for real-time pilot-in-the-loop simulation of the rotorcraft shipboard landing task in terms of fleet pilot training and support of dynamic interface flight testing. Phase I has been completed; Phase II is planned for mid-1995 through mid-1997.
