Authors Abstract
Content
The techniques developed in the practice of brush plating in the past have not addressed the problem of hazardous waste generation. The reasons revolved around; minimal waste generated, the solutions were designed to evaporate as the metals were used and the high dilution of the metalics made the waste a minor source of pollution. With the use of the brush plating process in production applications and the new environmental laws in effect, new technology was required for the brush plating process. This paper discusses the new technology and systems available.
