Abstract

Content: Liquified natural gas (LNG) may provide economic opportunities and be the preferred natural gas vehicle fuel, depending on range, fueling transfer rate requirements and gross vehicle weight (GVW) limitations. Current inexperience with LNG calls for the evaluation of demonstration projects involving LNG vehicle fueling stations and on-board vehicle storage systems.
