LHX--NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR HELICOPTER DESIGN

100% Quick Change in less than 30 minutes of Mission Equipment and select embedded systems, comprising the empty weight, of combat helicopters has never been a design priority in helicopter development. The empty weights of today's combat helicopters have too many integrally designed systems with near zero degree change out for easy combat reconfiguration by the battle commander.
