Content: The latest technological developments in center pivot irrigation equipment, a steerable Corner System and low pressure sprinkler systems, are reviewed. A scenario of the microprocessor controlled system of the 1980's is drawn, and the feasibility of center pivots performing additional farming operations is examined.
