New developments in automotive textile lamination enable convertors to lake a leap forward in meeting today's challenges. A combination of new adhesive technology and advancements in equipment design create new processes which:
  • meet long term environmental regulations
  • create recyclable laminates
  • use only 10-20 gsm of resin, yet provide superior bonding
  • eliminate costly ovens
  • are capable of line speeds of 100 meters/min
  • are crossweb and downweb consistent to within ±10%
  • eliminate strike through from unmelted adhesive
  • meet automakers' standards for temperature, humidity, and fogging resistance
  • can be retrofitted to existing web handling equipment
  • eliminate in-mold delamination problems in deep drawn areas
