- High angle of attack flow for a NACA0012 airfoil has been computed using an Euler code and a Navier-Stokes code. These codes are based on an implicit finite-volume Total-Variation-Diminishing (TVD) formulation of the convection terms. Comparison of the two solutions shows that the Euler code does not result in a realistic separated flow solution while the Navier-Stokes code does.
