Internal Transfer Case Controls for Four Wheel Drive Vehicles

Transfer case drive assemblies for four wheel drive vehicles have changed drastically to improve fuel economy. New designs have also improved driver ease of operation. This paper describes three new internal transfer case control systems which enhance driver operation and control of four wheel drive vehicles.
