Interior Automotive Temperatures and Their Effect on Premium Quality Audio Cassettes

The high temperature generated by sunlight in a closed, parked car can have catastrophic effects on audio cassettes stored inside. This paper describes a seven-hour test on premium quality audio cassettes and makes recommendations as to what design considerations should be a minimum standard for car stereo applications.
