Inspection Lighting for the Visual Detection of Surface Flaws in Zinc Die Castings

This paper will attempt to point out the importance of proper lighting, its effect on the finished products, the reduction of rejects, and the cost savings incurred as a result of these lighting improvements. As in most zinc die casting operating facilities, visual inspection is the essence of assuring quality standards.
