- EPOXY ADHESIVES ARE WIDELY USED by the automotive industry for bonding oily metal. Induction heating of the metal substrate is an effective means of partially curing the adhesive. This partial cure provides a means of fixturing the parts for shipping and handling. Special epoxy adhesives are necessary for this purpose. An overall increase in quality is achieved by the use of induction heating and these adhesives.
