- An innovative shock-resistant and accurate incline & acceleration sensor has been developed. This sensor is based on the new concept that either magnetic fluid or a precision steel ball supported by the force of a cylindrical permanent magnet is used as a detecting body, and two coils sense the movement of the body. The detecting unit consists only of a magnet, coils and the magnetic fluid or the precision steel ball. Its simple construction and this magnetic support make it impact resistant and easy to handle. which advantage could not have been obtained with conventional sensors.A lot of applications can be expected, not only as an automobile sensor but also for many other purposes because of its accuracy, productivity and reliability.
