- A color matrix display (CMD) image simulation system has been developed to support human factors research leading to design specifications for CMD visual parameters. The simulation system consists of color graphics image processing hardware and software, as well as high-resolution display and optical components. The flexibility and fidelity with which CMD images can be simulated permit a wide variety of CMD hardware and information format issues to be addressed.
