Authors Abstract
Content
The use of the glass palladium needle membrane attached to the ion gauge probe provides a new way to measure very small amounts of hydrogen. Tests show the probe measures hydrogen in parts per billion. There are applications in the fields of hydrogen embrittlement, corrosion embrittlement, and corrosion measurement - also, uses in the aerospace, steel, pipeline, and nuclear energy industries.
