Hydrazine based propellants have been used safely and effectively at Garrett's AiResearch Manufacturing Company over the past 30 years. Research, development, and manufacture of gas generators has been carried out using various methods of initiation of reactions and decomposition of hydrazine. Thousands of individual tests have been performed, and thousands of hardware items have been produced and delivered to customers.
