- New designs and technology have been developed in order to overcome long-standing problems inherent in engineering enclosed, high performance 2-wheelers for the highway. Advances have been made in the areas of: rider position, ergonomics, vehicle packaging, aerodynamics, high and low speed stability, structural integrity, and crash protection. The evolutionary development by the author and associates of prototype vehicles, which have competed successfully against traditional designs, setting motorcycle and bicycle world's records, indicates a potential direction for futuristic 2-wheel vehicle design.
