Heater and A/C Temperature Control Cable Snap-in End Fitting

A new end fitting has been developed for attaching the temperature control cable to the heater/air conditioner air handling unit. The cable end fitting, in conjunction with the rigorous control of one specific cable dimension permits installation without the need for positioning devices. The cable system also eliminates the requirement to adjust the cable after installation. The new cable system improves the first run capability for installation at the vehicle assembly plant.
