Hand Operated Throttle and Brake System

This paper describes the design and development of a state of the art hand operated throttle and brake system for GM vehicles. This system provides minimal intrusion into the driver's space. St has right and left hand formats with no change in hardware and can be used with standard and tilt steering columns. Normal access to throttle and brake pedals is retained for able bodied drivers.
