Automotive Interiors are gaining a lot of attention as they have a great impact on car sales. The design of an automotive interior plays a pivotal role in creating a best selling car. Designing a safe and robust interior within the guidelines of the design theme is a challenge. FEA tools are used to validate the design before it goes into production. There is a suite of FEA tools used for studies on Cockpits and door trims. Time to market a product plays a key role in the profitability of the product. As the development cycle of an automobile continues to shorten, new technologies must be developed to shorten the product development time and to reduce the product development cost thereby improving profitability. This paper presents a technique developed to reduce FEA cycle time per FEA loop.
