GAETAN is a software for the processing of the data handled by a thermal simulation software. It is today interfaced with ESATAN, but could be linked with any software using the lumped parameter method.
GAETAN has been developed by CNES since 1995. Its initial objective was to avoid anarchic and non-validated users' developments, especially for thermal balance, heat sink calculations, standard thermal control hardware models, comparison between temperature specifications and calculations and comparison between different calculations.
Industry's interest has been proven in the last years, as it is today used at CNES, and 5 industrial sites in France.
