Fundamental Parameters of Vehicle Fuel Economy and Acceleration

This paper discusses the performance criteria that are used to express customers’ needs for fuel economy and acceleration. In addition, it explains how fundamental performance parameters of various vehicle components are adjusted to satisfy these criteria.
