Abstract
Content

Prior to the full scale test of the 44 foot diameter advanced geometry rotor in the 40′ × 80′ Wind Tunnel at the NASA Ames Facility (covered in detail by Robert Stroub in the previous paper), a geometrically similar 1/5 scale model rotor was tested in the United Technology Research Center's 18′ Main Wind Tunnel. This second part of the 2-part report on the Ames test will compare the full scale test results with the 1/5 scale model test results and with the theoretical full scale predicted results.
