- Natural fibers are extracted from plant can be used as a fiber reinforcement in polymer based materials which provides anisotropic mechanical properties due to their interior microstructure. In our county, flax fiber is available in nature abundantly which is widely used for manufacturing of composites for automotive and aerospace application. In these work, young modulus of fiber composites is determined by using mathematical models. Finite element model is used to determine the modulus properties of flax fiber epoxy composites by varying fiber ratio. The analysis results indicated that finite element model results are correlated with mathematical of flax fiber reinforced epoxy composites.
