In these times of ever increasing complexity of helicopters, there remains a basic need for one man who can provide the technical expertise required to satisfy the needs of the customer in the maintenance, operation and support of his aircraft. This man has to have the training, experience and professional ability to provide this service. He must act as a company liaison in all areas of logistic support and be willing and able to respond to all the customer needs relating to his product. At the same time, he must be responsible to his company to feedback the necessary information that allows Engineering, Programs and Product Support to react to field problems and correct them either by hardware design changes or ILS software modifications. This unique individual must integrate himself into the customer's operations and prove himself technically competent and capable of providing this kind of service and at the same time illustrate the total value of his capabilities to the customer as well as to his company. This individual is a field service representative. He is "The Field Representative, Front Line Actioneer."
