The Civil Tiltrotor Development Advisory Committee (CTRDAC) has been established by Congress to assess the technical feasibility and economic viability of this nation developing civil tiltrotor technology. CTRDAC planned analysis and organization structure are described along with current research being conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration to support the CTRDAC. Four analyses are described:
