FEA Software Advances SPUR Use of Tool Directly by Design Engineers

The purpose of this paper is to update the reader on the new trends in Computer Aided Engineering. It covers modem technologies in the human interface, solver technologies as well as new element formulations to simplify the finite element analysis for design engineers. A finite element system based on Microsoft Windows user interface as well as network architecture is also presented.
