- This paper discusses features of the F-15 (fighter aircraft) secondary power systems which represent state-of-the-art advances, and the design considerations that led to their selection. The significant influence on the overall vehicle configuration that their utilization created includes contributions to reduce frontal area, lighter weight, less maintenance, lower cost, and improved vehicle survivability.
