Authors Abstract
Content
In this work, a detailed analysis of the influence of intake temperature on the various operational parameters of gas-powered turbocharged engines is made. An experimental study with an otto-cycle 20-litre engine adapted for this purpose is regarded. The experimental results show that the intake temperature strongly affects not just the volumetric efficiency and power as expected, but many parameters such as specific fuel consumption and others.
