Recent measures taken to protect the environment have paved the way for composite materials reinforced with natural fiber, which has forced manufacturing giants to search for a fill-in for conventional reinforcing materials. As a result, extensive research efforts have been put into the synthesis, manufacture, and production of bio-derived polymers. One such type of bio-derived polymer is natural fibre composite materials. Natural fibre reinforced composites (NFCs), as the name designates, are made of natural resources and thus possess environmentally beneficial properties like biodegradability. Firstly, sugarcane bagasse polymer composite is prepared and it’s behaviour is determined by subjecting to tensile and bending loads. Later, the effect of Sapodilla seed shell powder on Sugarcane Bagasse fibre reinforced Epoxy composite materials is investigated in this study. Hand-layup approach is utilized in this study in preparation of samples. The results show that the addition of Sapodilla seed shell powder improves the ultimate tensile and flexural strength of the Sugarcane bagasse reinforced Epoxy polymer composite. The tensile strengths of the 5wt% and 10wt% of the fibre and epoxy are 14.33 Mpa and 15.65 Mpa. However, with the addition of sapodilla seed shell powder, these values increased to 18.088 Mpa, 20.48 Mpa, 18.3 Mpa, and 26.28 MPa, respectively, at the above-mentioned fibre percentages. Further, the flexural strength of 5wt% and 10wt% of fibre is 33.82Mpa and 38.27 MPa. After mixing sapodilla seed shell powder, flexural strength increased to 37.98 MPa, 84 MPa, 43.5 MPa, and 93.22 MPa, respectively.
