Construction and testing of the V-22 aeroelastic model series occupied a five-year period from mid- 1983 through mid-1988. During this period several variants of the model were subjected to extensive ground testing and 46 weeks of wind tunnel testing during seven entries in three different wind tunnels. The paper discusses model theory and construction techniques plus test plans, purposes, methods, and results.
