- The sealing system of conventional shock absorbers was improved, since the suspension concept of actual vehicle's imposes increasingly higher loads. This evolution consisted in the development of a new seal capable to attend the new loads caused by the new configuration of conventional shock absorbers. The technique adopted was to model the seal's profile with the aid of finite elements analysis ( F.E.A.) through the use of C.A.E.
