- In this paper the six factors have been studied which effect on the exhaust gas emission level of the EQ140 trucks, including the air/fuel (A/F) ratio, spark plug gap, spark advance, idle speed range and so on. Several problems such as unstable air or fuel charged to the engine, unstable spark advance, engine intake system leading and untight quality control etc. had been found from production inspection and tests. Finally, a series of measures have been adopted for the truck to meet the requirement of pollution limits.
