Engine Management - Where do we go from here

This paper reviews the changes that have taken place in the Aircraft and Engine Maintenance business, and the forces driving them. The focus is on the developing business structures driven by acquisitions and partnerships in the industry, and how the future Maintenance and Repair Organizations might work to achieve world-class performance. The paper examines the business changes rather than technical details, and how this will lead to the development of a significantly different working relationship between Airlines, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) and Maintenance and Repair Organizations (MRO's).
