Electronic Governor for Truck Diesel Engines

The electronic control extends the performance of the governors used today on truck diesel engines. It offers optimum operation of the diesel engine in the vehicle. Furthermore it allows reduction of inventory due to fewer types in combination with high flexibility.

The described system, intended for heavy duty truck application, was developed by Bosch together with Daimler-Benz AG.
