Apart from suspension, engine mounts plays major role in vehicle NVH. Engine mounts is used to support weight of powertrain & to isolate unbalanced engine disturbance forces from vehicle body. Engine mounts are designed in such a way that no metal to metal contact is remained in between powertrain & rest of the vehicle.
