- Tunnels are vital infrastructures in daily life. To utilize digital twin technology for more efficient and convenient tunnel operation and maintenance, tunnel modeling serves as its foundation. However, existing tunnel modeling methods always suffer from high computational complexity, poor generalizability, and low expressive efficiency. This article proposes a data-driven tunnel modeling approach based on the Unity3D platform. Based on the actual engineering drawings, the method obtains the tunnel parameter set through the classification and feature analysis of the tunnel structure. A process-oriented model representation, i.e. a Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) tree is then employed, enabling the creation of portal models without dependence on specific data structures. Meanwhile, the mesh optimization idea of downward triangulation and the neighbor-edge detection mechanism are introduced to improve the expression efficiency while maintaining the integrity and correctness of the structural features.
