The Eaton Ceemat (Converter Enhanced Electronically Managed Automatic Transmission

A new automatic transmission called the CEEMAT (Converter Enhanced, Electronically Managed, Automatic Transmission) has been developed to serve the on/off highway truck market. The CEEMAT was also specifically designed to suit military applications.

The CEEMAT is a unique combination of currently available mechanical transmission products and the power and sophistication of electronic control.

The CEEMAT provides ample ratio coverage with proven reliability. Fuel economy can also be improved because of extended torque converter lockup function and the overdrive ratio.
