- Content
- This article discusses some aspects of simulation representations of the components of a typical power train. Attention is directed at modeling various types of prime movers such as electric motors and internal combustion engines. Other typical components such as clutches, brakes, and transmissions are also discussed in light of possible representation of these elements in a simulation model. A number of examples are included to illustrate the simulation results using the representations discussed.
