The Dresser 140M/210M Off-Highway Trucks

Dresser has introduced two new, off-highway, mechanical drive trucks designed to operate in the 35 to 60 ton, rear dump, classes. These trucks, designated 140M and 210M, replace three previous models while covering the same payload range. Both designs incorporate new electronic transmission controls and new hydraulics eliminate the need for an air system. This paper describes the engineering features and simultaneous 27 month development of both vehicles.
