Authors Abstract
Content
A new method for distributing the required amount of cooling air in an air cooled I.C Engine is proposed. The amount of the air to be distributed depends on factors like temperature, surface area, and the shape factor of the engine cylinder The air can be distributed in the required proportion found by considering the above factors the use of; the use of internal air flow dividers (AFD), the provision of a ‘Y’ like constriction in the cowling enclosure exit. The use multiple diffuser angled housing is suggested to take care of the space constraint.
