Authors Abstract
Content
The use of cold flow improver additives for distillate fuels is well established in Europe as a means of increasing distillate yield whilst satisfying specification requirements.
The trend towards higher proportions of cracked components in automotive diesel is likely to require a wider range of additive types to maintain fuel quality standards, and assure satisfactory end use performance. This paper discusses the types of additives now available and addresses their relevance to trends in diesel fuel quality.
