Diagnostic Levels Required for Heavy-Duty Vehicles

This paper defines the need for more complete diagnostic systems as options for heavy commercial vehicles. Areas and indicators are defined for current and future operator requirements.

Return on the operators investment is demonstrated on the basis of vehicle utilization. Current prototypes and pilot evaluations are discussed.
