Developments in Wheel Speed Sensing

Automotive wheel speed sensing techniques and technologies are discussed. A unique sensor mounting within the confines of a fully integrated wheel bearing which offers considerable advantage over some speed sensor mounting techniques in use today is also discussed. Design considerations, advantages, and test experience are discussed.
